President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held another meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff, during which two main priorities were discussed: funding for the army and protecting the skies from “Shahed” drones.
This was reported by the Office of the President.
“We are working to ensure absolute stability in the financial support of our warriors,” the Head of State declared.
According to him, a report on this topic was presented by Ukraine’s Finance Minister.
The meeting also addressed one of the most pressing defense priorities — intercepting kamikaze drones using other drones.
“This is one of the most advanced technologies in modern warfare,” Zelenskyy noted.
The President emphasized that he had already instructed the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to intensify cooperation with partners to secure funding for the production of such interceptors.
At the same time, he announced that each region of Ukraine will be assigned a specific zone of responsibility for the use and development of this technology.
