Ukraine has already started consultations with the U.S. regarding the text of the agreement on minerals. This was reported by Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha at a briefing on April 1.
The minister confirmed that his ministry received a new text of the agreement regarding resources from the American side on March 28. As of now, one round of consultations with the U.S. regarding the text of the document has already taken place. For signing, it is important that it corresponds to the mutual national interests of both the U.S. and Ukraine.
"The text of the agreement, which will provide for the further feasible presence of powerful American business — this is also a contribution to the security infrastructure of Ukraine. This is always important," Andrii Sybiha stressed.
