Peace talks with Russia and U.S. collapse: Zelenskyy reveals details
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy explained what is hindering negotiations with the United States and Russia and announced preparations for further prisoner swaps.

He confirmed that due to the situation surrounding Iran, «there are currently no necessary signals for a trilateral meeting» between Ukraine, the United States and Russia. He made the remarks in his March 4 video address.
«I also spoke today with Rustem Umerov regarding his communication with the American side. We continue to communicate with the United States virtually on a daily basis. At present, because of the situation around Iran, there are still no necessary signals for a trilateral meeting, ” Zelenskyy said.
He said that once the security situation and the broader political context allow for the continuation of such trilateral diplomatic work, it will resume. Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine is ready for this.
New prisoner swap
«I am grateful to our intelligence, the Office and all involved services for the steps being taken to make further prisoner exchanges possible. We are working to bring all our people home from Russian captivity. We hope for good news, ” he added.
