Russia and China draft new military and energy projects
Russia and China are preparing new agreements spanning the military-technical and energy sectors. During the SPIEF event, Vladimir Putin described Beijing as a «natural partner» for Moscow.

Russia and China are currently developing new joint initiatives within the military-technical and energy fields. Meanwhile, the Kremlin maintains that this cooperation is allegedly not directed against third parties.
The statement was made by Russian president Vladimir Putin during a meeting with media representatives at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Cooperation between the Russian Federation and China — planned initiatives
According to the Russian dictator, Moscow and Beijing intend to expand bilateral cooperation in the near future. Furthermore, he characterized both nations as «natural partners» cooperating solely for mutual benefit.
Putin emphasized that these new military-technical developments bear no relation to the current geopolitical situation or the ongoing war.
«Moscow and Beijing do not form alliances against anyone, but rather act in their own interests,» he stated.
The Kremlin leader additionally announced the upcoming finalization of major new agreements within the fuel and energy sector. Referencing these projected economic ventures with China, he noted that the nations would «soon deliver» new energy pacts.
