Sad to look at the map: Trump allows for «territory exchange»

U.S. President Donald Trump expressed confidence that today it will be possible to reach agreement on almost all issues, including security for Ukraine.

He said this during talks with President Zelenskyy and European leaders.

“I am optimistic that together we can reach an agreement that will deter any future aggression against Ukraine, and I truly think there will not be any,” Trump added.

The U.S. President stated that the issue of a “land exchange” would be considered “taking into account the current line of contact.”

“We will need to discuss where the line of contact is now, the possible exchange of territories. This means the combat zone, the lines of fighting, which are quite obvious now — it’s actually very sad to look at them,” Trump said.

“Perhaps in a few weeks we will know whether we have managed to achieve something, or whether these battles will continue,” Trump added.
