Summer 2026 to be turning point: Zelenskyy on choice facing Putin

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes the summer of 2026 will be a decisive moment for Russian leader Vladimir Putin, as he faces a choice between continuing the war or moving toward peace.

Zelenskyy made the remarks during a meeting in the Washington format on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit.

«This summer will be the moment when Putin decides what to do next — whether to expand this war or move toward diplomacy, ” Zelenskyy said.
