Ukraine is developing long-range weapons, but it is grappling with financial constraints.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his speech at the international Ambrosetti Forum on September 5.

The President highlighted that Ukrainian specialists are working on the development and modernization of various types of weapons, but funding shortages are a significant hurdle.

«We have a $6 billion deficit — this is a serious challenge because it’s not the first $6 billion we need, nor the last. So, we are working on it, ” he said.

Zelenskyy added that Ukraine is already engaging in negotiations with partners to attract additional funding.
