On Wednesday, December 17, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with his Czech counterpart Petr Pavel on continuing ammunition deliveries.
The Ukrainian leader shared the news on his Telegram channel.
Zelenskyy highlighted that the «Czech initiative» has already supplied Ukraine with 1.8 million rounds of ammunition.
«Deliveries will continue through the end of the year. There is capacity to supply Ukraine with shells next year as well. We need to carry out all key initiatives, ” he stressed.
Ukrainian president also briefed Petr Pavel on the situation at the front.
«We spoke about the successful operation of our forces in Kupiansk, which showed exactly what Moscow’s words really mean. It is crucial for us that the world sees the truth: Ukrainians are holding positions, and this provides the right foundation for the diplomatic efforts we discussed today, ” he said.
