Zelenskyy: Pressure on Russia increases, a war-free next year is realistic

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that a war-free next year is a realistic scenario.

In his evening video address on July 26, the Head of State explained what is needed to achieve this.

«There were important intelligence reports. The Foreign Intelligence Service reported on the effectiveness of sanctions against Russia and individuals connected to it. The enemy’s losses — economic losses — are truly significant. They will become even more significant, ” he emphasized.

Zelenskyy thanked everyone around the world who is helping. He stressed that now is the moment to press Russia — to apply such pressure that the war ends next year.

«They must realize they won’t be able to endure. The sanctions must truly strip Russia of its potential. That is exactly what we are working for, ” he said.

The President also reported that he had a conversation with the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

«There’s also the daily work routine of our diplomacy: these days, we’ve had a lot of communication with partners. I instructed the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council to be more active in attracting foreign funding for drones. I also instructed government officials and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine to more actively verify all agreements made with partners — what must be fully implemented, but is unfortunately not yet fully executed. I expect relevant reports during the week, ” he concluded.
