Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy identified two issues within the peace plan that remain unresolved following his meeting with Donald Trump on 28 December.
He made the comments while responding to questions from journalists.
The unresolved issues are the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and territorial matters.
“It is the plant and how it will operate — the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant — and the issue of territories. These are the two issues that remain in the 20-point document. That is why I said the 20-point peace plan is 90% ready, because there is no agreement on two of the 20 points,” Zelenskyy said.
He also confirmed his statement that security guarantees for Ukraine are fully agreed.
“Yes, we will still discuss some additional details with the United States regarding the duration of these security guarantees,” the president added.
