8-year-old boy killed and others wounded in Russian strike on Cherkasy
Falling drone debris damaged four high-rise buildings in Cherkasy. Dead and wounded reported.

On the evening of April 14, Russian forces attacked Cherkasy with strike drones. The assault killed a child and wounded several others, Ihor Taburets, Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, reported.
Cherkasy strike: aftermath details
Air defenses downed nine enemy drones over the region, officials say. At least four residential high-rises were damaged by falling debris in Cherkasy. Rescue and utility crews remain on-site.
An 8-year-old boy has died of injuries, the Regional Military Administration chief reported. Many others were wounded.
"Unfortunately, the regional center faces tragic consequences. An 8-year-old boy has died of injuries. My condolences to the family... Nine more people are hospitalized, including a child. Three residents were treated at the scene," Ihor Taburets stated.

Emergency services are on-site at the debris impact locations. The regional head urged residents not to ignore air raid sirens.
