Christmas attack on Odesa region leaves casualties and destruction

Overnight on December 25, the enemy once again struck port and industrial facilities in Ukraine’s Odesa region, killing one person and injuring two others.

The information was reported by Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

“The attack damaged administrative, industrial and warehouse buildings. Fires broke out at several locations and were put out by firefighters. Sadly, one person was killed — the body recovered from under the rubble. Two others were wounded and are receiving medical assistance,” he said.

All emergency services are working at the site. Efforts are ongoing to deal with the aftermath of the strikes and to document the war crimes committed by the aggressor state.
