The news has been supplemented

Russian forces launched a large-scale drone assault on Ukraine's Odesa region overnight into October 13, sparking extensive blazes at storage sites and leaving one person injured.

Odesa Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Kiper reported the incident.

The strikes ignited large-scale fires at warehouses holding textile products and sewing equipment in Odesa, engulfing more than 5,000 square meters. One vehicle was also destroyed in the blaze.

Preliminary reports indicate one person was injured.

Emergency responders faced challenges in tackling the aftermath of the enemy strikes due to intense fire loads and a lack of adequate water supply at the site. Rescuers arranged continuous water delivery from nearby sources.

The fires were extinguished by 16 pieces of equipment and 56 firefighters, along with the Citizens' Safety Center "Avangard," a National Guard fire unit, and volunteers.
