Overnight drone strike on Zaporizhzhia district kills couple

Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia district with a drone, hitting the town of Vilniansk, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov reported.

He said the strike destroyed a private house, killing a couple — a 49-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman.

Emergency services are working at the scene. Information about other possible consequences of the attack is still being clarified.

Residents of the region are being urged not to ignore air raid alerts and to remain in shelters when threats arise.
