A Russian overnight strike on November 20 cut electricity to consumers in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, while scheduled outages remain in force nationwide.

This was reported by Ukrenergo.

Overnight, Russia struck energy facilities in several regions, leaving consumers in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions without power. Emergency repair crews are working wherever the security situation allows.

Due to the impact of previous Russian attacks, consumption limits are in place across all Ukrainian regions on 20 November. Hourly power-cut schedules — ranging from two to four groups — remain in effect. In addition, maximum-level power-restriction schedules have been introduced for industrial consumers.

Severe weather also left 17 settlements in the Mykolaiv region fully or partially without electricity on Tuesday morning. Regional utility crews are working on restoration, with full reconnection expected by the end of the day.

Ukrenergo urges to use electricity sparingly.
