Russia preparing new large-scale attack on Ukraine: Zelenskyy reveals details

Russia is preparing a new mass strike on Ukraine despite talks on ending the war, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his evening video address on January 28.

He said Russia was seeking to inflict as much pain as possible on Ukrainians, regardless of diplomatic efforts.

«We also know Russia is preparing a new strike. Intelligence indicates this, and it is important that the United States, Europe and all our partners understand how this undermines diplomatic talks. Every Russian strike does so, ” Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy acknowledged that as long as Russian strikes and assaults continue, it is hard for people to believe diplomacy is constructive or capable of producing results. He urged the international community to ensure Russia prepares for an end to the war, not for new mass attacks.
