Russia strikes Dnipro: First details and footage of aftermath

Explosions rocked Dnipro in the afternoon of September 30. Russia attacked the city center with drones. At present, one person is reported killed and 28 wounded.

Russia strikes Dnipro

According to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, the Russians attacked Dnipro with drones. Fires broke out in the city.

Updated at 7:45 p.m.: The number of injured in Dnipro has risen to 28, the Regional Administration reported. Among them are a 10-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl.

Twelve people have been hospitalized, with medics providing all necessary aid on-site.

Updated at 6:29 p.m.: In Dnipro, the injured count now stands at 20.

According to Lysak, fires engulfed an office building and a vehicle. A multi-story apartment block, dormitory, and cultural venue sustained damage. Two cars were destroyed, and 17 more heavily damaged.

Updated at 6:10 p.m.: The number of injured in Dnipro has climbed to 15. It’s also been confirmed that a man in critical condition has died as a result of the attack.

«Medics are on the scene. Per their reports, there are now 15 wounded. Two will recover at home, the rest are in hospitals,» Lysak added.

Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov stated that the strike damaged a medical center building and a pediatric dental clinic.

Updated at 5:12 p.m.: The attack on Dnipro has left 12 people injured.

They suffered shrapnel wounds, lacerations, and contusions. Most have been hospitalized, with one in serious condition,» the Regional Administration noted.
