Russia strikes homes with missile and drones in regional assault: Casualties reported (photos)

Overnight into Wednesday, April 29, Russian troops struck the Shostka community in the Sumy region with drones and a missile, targeting civilian infrastructure. Casualties have been reported.

This was stated by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Hryhorov.

“The enemy deliberately targeted homes where civilians live,” the official said.

The strikes triggered large-scale fires in residential areas.

According to authorities, a 60-year-old woman died of carbon monoxide poisoning in one of the houses. Two other people sought medical assistance.
