Attack on Odesa, April 27

Overnight into April 27, Russian invaders launched another assault on the Greater Odesa ports and facilities supporting the maritime corridor. The state-run Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) reported the incident.

According to the report, the attack damaged a power facility within a cargo terminal. Fires that broke out were quickly suppressed. During the attack, the civilian vessel RAMCO, flying the flag of Nauru, was struck while navigating the Ukrainian maritime corridor.

«The vessel sustained minor damage; the crew successfully extinguished a fire on board. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties,» the USPA stated.

The USPA stresses that systematic strikes on Ukrainian ports pose a direct threat to international shipping safety and global food market stability. Despite relentless enemy pressure, the Ukrainian maritime corridor remains operational.
