Russia strikes the city of Samar again: Death toll rises

A series of explosions rocked the Dnipropetrovsk region. Authorities confirmed a missile strike on Samar.

On Friday, June 27, Russian forces launched missile attacks on the city of Samar in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The number of killed and injured continues to rise.

Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak reported this.

“A 46-year-old man wounded in today’s missile strike on Samar died in the hospital. In total, the Russians have killed five people,” Lysak said in a statement as of 2:00 p.m.

Earlier, he had reported three deaths, then four.

Additionally, the number of injured has risen to 23. Most of the wounded have been hospitalized, and four people are in serious condition.

Lysak also noted that a fire broke out at the site of the strike.

The details and consequences are currently being clarified.
