Russian army is targeting bridges in Odesa region in an effort to sever transport links to the western part of the region.
The assessment was shared by electronic warfare and communications expert Serhii «Flash» Beskrestnov.
He noted that on December 14 Russian forces attacked the bridge in Zatoka with almost 40 Shahed drones, about two dozen of which struck the target. On December 18, the enemy began attacks on a bridge in Maiaky.
«They are seeking to sever transport links to the entire western part of Odesa region in this way. That is the gateway to Danube logistics, ” „Flash“ explained.
He said ferry crossings could be set up to maintain transport links, but warned they would be vulnerable to Shahed drones.
At the same time, Serhii Beskrestnov added that, in his assessment, the precise strike on the bridge would not have been possible without real-time control of the Shahed drone.
