A Russian air strike on an eco-park near Kharkiv injured a volunteer and completely destroyed the predators’ winter enclosure as well as the winter housing for birds. The lions were injured.
This was said by the founder of the eco-park, Oleksandr Feldman, in comments to Suspilne Kharkiv.
“One volunteer was wounded, though apparently not seriously. She sustained a head laceration, got into an ambulance by herself and has already been taken away. The predators’ winter enclosure and the winter housing for birds had been completely destroyed. The lions were injured. Everything there has been destroyed. And once again, the facilities for small animals have been destroyed,” he said.
