Russian drone strikes Kharkiv residential district: Child among injured
Russian military launched a drone strike on high-rise buildings in Kharkiv. The number of people injured has risen to six.

Russian forces struck Kharkiv’s Industrialnyi District with a combat drone. At least six people were injured near apartment buildings on the evening of March 9, including a 16-year-old girl. The total number of wounded is being clarified.
The attack was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Synehubov.

Ihor Terekhov said a Russian combat drone was detected near residential buildings where people were present.
«A strike by an enemy combat drone in the Industrial District near apartment blocks was recorded. Details are being clarified. Five people were injured, ” he said.
Terekhov later confirmed that the number of injured had increased to six. Oleh Synehubov provided further details, noting that the blast and debris damaged windows in two apartment buildings. Vehicles were also hit, with seven cars damaged and two completely destroyed by fire.

According to the regional administration head, among the injured is a 16-year-old girl who has been diagnosed with an acute stress reaction. Emergency medical teams are providing assistance to all victims at the scene.

«The 16-year-old girl, a 41-year-old woman, and a 36-year-old man are receiving on-site medical care. A 51-year-old man with blast injuries has been hospitalized, ” Synehubov said.

Rescue units, the National Police, and medical personnel are currently working at the impact site. Authorities are documenting the aftermath of another war crime by the Russian army against civilians.
