Russian missile strike on Ternopil: Death toll rises (graphic images)

The death toll has risen after a missile strike on residential buildings in Ternopil. So far, Russia has killed 16 people.

The Russian missile strike on Ternopil has now killed 19 people. Another 66 people were injured, including 16 children, and emergency responders rescued 45.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

The National Police of Ukraine reported 16 deaths in Ternopil. Another 64 people were injured, including 14 children.

 “Enemy strikes damaged industrial and critical infrastructure. The scale of the destruction is being assessed,” the statement said.

As detailed by the Office of the Prosecutor General, missiles and drones struck two residential buildings on Stusa Street and 15 Kvіtnya Street in Ternopil. An industrial facility was also damaged.

“Investigative teams and the State Emergency Service are on site, extinguishing fires. Victims are receiving medical and psychological support,” the statement said.
