Russian morning attack on major regional center kills people (photos)

Explosions rocked Zaporizhzhia on Saturday, March 21, as Russian forces struck residential areas, killing people.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

“Explosions in the Zaporizhzhia region. Remain in safe places until the all-clear,” he said.

He later said Russian forces struck the city in a morning attack. A drone destroyed a private house, causing casualties.

Two people were killed. Two girls aged 11 and 15 were injured.

“According to preliminary information, two people — a man and a woman — were killed,” Fedorov said.

Air raid sirens sounded in the regional center from 07:01. Ukraine’s Air Force later warned of a threat from Russian attack drones in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The Telegram channel Trukha Zaporizhzhia reported smoke rising into the sky after the explosion.
