Syrskyi warns of new frontline threat: Russia’s next move
Ukraine's commander-in-chief says Russia is building up its forces and preparing to expand the front line.

Russian occupying forces are showing signs of exhaustion but still retain considerable offensive capabilities and continue to bolster their ranks. Despite Ukraine's qualitative edge in troop training, it is premature to speak of a decisive turning point in the war, according to Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.
Frontline situation: Syrskyi's assessment
According to Syrskyi, the invaders are sustaining their massive bombardment of Ukrainian territory, ramping up arms production, and plotting to stretch the frontline, which already spans over 1,250 kilometers. The enemy is seeking to offset the superior training of Ukrainian troops with its numerical advantage.
“The enemy is building up its troop presence, keeping up massive strikes across Ukrainian territory, scaling up munitions production, and preparing to seize the initiative with potential offensives in new sectors of the front,” Syrskyi said.
He assures that Ukraine’s military leadership is fully aware of these threats. Continuous efforts are underway to shore up defensive lines, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces' top priority remains staying one step ahead of the enemy's plans.
