Ukrainian forces shoot down new rare «Klin» drone: What we know (photos)

Ukrainian forces have shot down a new and rare Russian kamikaze drone known as «Klin».

The information was shared by radio technology expert and adviser to Ukraine’s defense minister, Serhii «Flash» Beskrestnov.

What we know about the «Klin» drone

According to the expert, the drone is equipped with a warhead weighing up to 5 kilograms. It has an automatic target acquisition function and is capable of an airburst detonation.

He also outlined other specifications of the «Klin» drone:

• range of up to 120 km;

• speed of up to 120 km/h;

• flight time of 60–90 minutes;

• a modern battery based on Li-AFB technology.
