Aggressor state Russia began Good Friday with ballistic, cruise missile, and "Shahed" drone strikes across Ukraine. Civilian casualties were reported in Sumy and Kharkiv.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this.

A missile strike hit Kharkiv, damaging dozens of residential buildings, a business, and cars. Around 70 people were injured, including five children — the youngest, Valeria, is 2 years old. One person was killed.

Sumy was struck by Russian drones, targeting a regular bread-producing facility. One person was killed.

Additionally, strikes were carried out overnight on Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk regions.

“Our rescuers, medics, and other emergency and special services — all are responding, all are helping. I thank everyone who is saving lives and restoring conditions for living in cities and villages across Ukraine. Grateful to each of our partners who are helping defend Ukraine. Every defense package matters — every air defense system, every sufficient quantity of missiles for air defense — all of it truly helps,” the Head of State stressed.
