Ukraine is working to ensure that Russia cannot use occupied territories to drag out the war. Meanwhile, agreements with the G7 nations will help create conditions under which Moscow will be forced to seek peace.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during his evening address.
What was agreed upon at the G7 summit — Zelenskyy’s statement

Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine’s military operations, particularly in the south and in temporarily occupied Crimea, are meticulously planned. He added that the effectiveness of these actions depends on decisions by Western partners regarding the supply of necessary weaponry.

«If what we discussed within the G7 is delivered to Ukraine, Russia will be forced to choose peace,» he said.

The president stressed that partners are already well aware of exactly what the Ukrainian military needs. Currently, our forces are destroying Russian resources both in the occupied territories and within Russia itself to weaken the enemy’s aggression.

«Our operation, particularly concerning Crimea, is calculated with precision. And the way the operation is progressing absolutely proves that if Ukraine receives exactly what we discussed with our partners within the G7—and this depends on the partners' decision—we will promptly ensure conditions where Russia will be forced to choose peace. We highly count on a positive response from our partners,» he added.
