Approximately 20 instances of the enemy using the new "Banderol" munitions have been recorded in southern Ukraine.

Spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces Vladyslav Voloshyn said this during a broadcast on "We - Ukraine".

“About two dozen uses of this munition have been recorded,” he noted.

According to him, this munition is a hybrid between a UAV and a cruise missile. They are launched from UAVs similar to the Bayraktar, such as the Orion.

“The explosive payload is approximately 150 kg. These are fragmentation-high-explosive munitions. The main threat lies in its range. The Russians claim it can reach 700 km, but we’ve recorded about 310–320 km. Additionally, it has a relatively high speed of up to 480 km per hour,” the spokesman for Ukraine’s Southern Defense Forces said.
