The Russian army attacked Cherkasy region with drones and missiles: several hits occured

On the night and morning of October 19, Russian forces attacked Cherkasy region with drones and missiles. Air defense systems operated, but there were hits in the region, and there were consequences due to falling debris.

This was reported by Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets. As a result of a massive strike on the Uman district, a woman born in 1961 died from injuries.

She was taken to a medical facility in critical condition, but doctors were unable to save her. In the Cherkasy district, the Russians attacked a critical infrastructure facility. According to the official, the aftermath of the strike is still being clarified. Additionally, a "Shahed" drone hit a warehouse of a private enterprise.

A fire broke out due to the strike but was quickly extinguished. One person was injured. Furthermore, in Cherkasy, drone debris damaged the windows of a residential house in a private sector and a building of a youth sports school.
