Can Ukraine’s war end without Trump? Budanov gives honest answer

The role of U.S. President Donald Trump is crucial in potentially ending the active phase of the war.
Chief of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence, Kyrylo Budanov, said this in an interview with 24 Kanal.
Budanov was asked how Trump should be viewed today in the context of Ukraine and the war. The intelligence chief emphasized that he maintains his position regarding the consistency of the U.S. President’s actions.
«Trump’s actions are extremely systematic and consistent. Regarding what he means for us — let me slightly reframe not just your question, but the whole paradigm, ” Budanov stated.
He stressed that without Trump’s participation, there is currently no chance for ending the hostilities.
«Without his involvement, I don’t see any chance to halt the hostilities, at least for now, ” the intelligence chief stated.
