Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy states that Russia is not signaling any readiness for a ceasefire, indicating its unwillingness to end the war.
He said this during his traditional evening address on Wednesday, May 21.
According to him, to change Moscow’s stance on the war, there is a need for «work with partners to exert pressure on Russia.»
«Pressure persuades. Pressure on the battlefield. Pressure in the economy, and that’s why sanctions exist. Pressure in politics,» Zelenskyy stressed.
At the same time, the Ukrainian President expressed gratitude to everyone supporting Ukraine.
