President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on whether any progress had been made in negotiations with Russia.

The head of state said this at a final press conference following the «Ukraine — Nordic and Baltic Countries» summit held in Kyiv on February 24.

«I think we have made progress in only one direction, but we have made it. That direction was the military sphere. Our military representatives met and agreed on how the monitoring mission would function after a ceasefire, if it takes place or when it takes place, ” he said.

The president also reported «positive signals» concerning a possible future prisoner exchange.

«I do not want to disclose the number of prisoners (who may be released — Ed.) involved, but it is a significant figure, ” Zelenskyy said.

He said that only these two points were agreed during the talks.
