A new trilateral meeting between Ukraine, Russia and the United States is expected to take place in early March. Separate talks between Kyiv and Washington are scheduled for tomorrow.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in response to questions from journalists.
He said Rustem Umerov, head of the Ukrainian delegation and secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, would hold a bilateral meeting with U.S. negotiators on February 25, including Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, adviser Jared Kushner and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
Exchange issues are among the key topics of the talks, the president said, adding that he hopes for progress on the humanitarian track.
«The first issue is the Ukraine recovery package. Details will be discussed. The second is preparation for a trilateral meeting with Russia which, in our view, could take place in early March, ” Zelenskyy said.
