Nuclear warheads for the tactical missile system "Tochka-U," which the Kremlin is sending to Belarus, are being removed from the "Rosatom" facilities where they were awaiting disposal.

This information was provided by Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, in an exclusive interview with Natalia Moseychuk.

According to him, Moscow is solving the issue of disposal of old Soviet nuclear weapons with the help of a satellite state.

"Currently, the nuclear warheads for the "Tochka-U" are being removed from disposal at Rosatom. They are received from Rosatom's storage facilities, not military arsenals. They extend their shelf life for exactly one year, simply by writing that they are still suitable for another year. Afterward, these warheads are sent to Belarus," Kyrylo Budanov stated.

According to the Chief of the Defence Intelligence, Moscow is hoping to get rid of outdated weapons at the expense of its "Belarusian partners" through such manipulations.

"In a year, they will raise the issue again, saying, 'You know, the term has expired,'" Budanov explained.
