The drone strike hit a critical infrastructure facility in Nizhyn on August 31, leaving residents without water and electricity. Emergency services are already working to restore supplies.
This was reported by Nizhyn Mayor Oleksandr Kodola to Suspilne.
"After the air raid alert is lifted, specialists will assess the extent of the damage and its consequences for the city. There are currently no casualties. Preliminary information regarding damage to civilian infrastructure is not yet available, as teams have not yet reached the site," Kodola said.
According to the Nizhyn Water Utility, in the absence of electricity, water supply will be provided via generators from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Citizens are urged to stock up on water in advance.
