Emergency rescue operations in Zaporizhzhia have been completed after the night attack. As a result of the enemy shelling, one person was killed and another 28 were injured, including three children.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

According to doctors, eight people were hospitalized. Among them are a 9-year-old boy, a 10-year-old boy, and a 16-year-old girl. Their condition is being clarified.

Rescuers extinguished fires in apartments of two residential buildings with a total area of 230 square meters. Five private houses, a service station, and a café also burned down — the total fire area reached 550 square meters.

Units of the State Emergency Service rescued six people, including one child. Psychologists provided assistance to 26 residents, including three children.
Emergency services and utility crews worked at the scene. Restoration work is currently underway in the affected districts of the city.

The enemy attack also left 25,000 consumers without electricity.

“Restoration work has already begun. Five emergency crews are working. Specialists promise to complete it during the day,” said the Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
