Strikes on the infrastructure of Russia's oil industry are a response to the Russian Federation's attacks on Ukraine's energy facilities.
This was emphasized by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a joint press conference with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.
He stressed that such strikes on Russia will continue as long as the aggressor state’s energy terror persists.
"We very much want this war to end. But no one will simply endure in the dark," the Ukrainian president noted.
As previously reported, an important topic of discussion between the Ukrainian and Slovak leaders was the supply of Russian energy resources to Slovakia amid Europe’s future energy independence.
"Russian oil, like Russian gas, has no future," Zelenskyy said.
