Russia bombed Ukraine overnight: Where explosions occurred, situation in the regions
Hundreds of Shahed drones were in Ukrainian airspace overnight, some of which attacked Kyiv, while others targeted other regions or headed westward. Ballistic missile launches were also detected toward Kharkiv, Dnipro, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Kaniv.

During the night of June 6, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine using drones, cruise, and ballistic missiles. The occupiers also launched cruise missiles from the sea and from Tu-95MS strategic bombers.

Kyiv
Four people were killed and 20 injured in Kyiv as a result of the attack, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
In the Solomianskyi district, a drone damaged a high-rise building, causing a fire on the 11th floor of a 16-story building. A fire also broke out in a metal hangar covering about 500 square meters. In the same district, the Russians attacked an educational institution.

In the Holosiivskyi district, an enemy strike caused damage near a gas station. Debris also fell in the Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Darnytskyi districts.
The attack damaged tracks and cables on the metro section between the “Darnytsia” and “Livoberezhna” stations on the red metro line. The ground-level stations “Dnipro” and “Lisova” are temporarily closed for entry and exit, and train intervals on this line have increased. A replacement bus route No. 1M has been organized.

Ternopil
On the night of June 6, the Russian occupiers struck Ternopil. As a result, industrial and infrastructure sites were damaged, and part of the city was left without electricity. Water supply is operating with interruptions.
Head of the Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Nehoda, described it as the most massive attack on the region, with many hits reported. In particular, industrial and infrastructure facilities in the regional center were struck.
There is also smoke in the city, and authorities are urging people to stay indoors.
Lutsk
In Lutsk, a residential apartment building was hit and partially destroyed. The blast wave shattered windows in many buildings.
Five people are reported injured. Residents of the affected building were evacuated, and the injured are receiving medical assistance. No killed have been reported.
The city mayor stated that during the attack on Lutsk, the enemy used 15 UAVs and 6 missiles.

Khmelnytskyi region
Khmelnytskyi region was also under attack. A private residential house, two utility buildings, a fence, and two vehicles were damaged. The full extent of the damage is still being clarified. No casualties or injuries have been reported.
Poltava region
Three people were injured during the massive Russian attack on the Poltava region. Administrative buildings, storage facilities of several businesses, and a café were damaged. Debris also fell on a private house.
