Russian forces are dropping mines from some "Shahed" drones daily. Ukrainians are urged to remain cautious and warn children about the danger.

Electronic warfare expert and adviser to Ukraine's Defense Minister, Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov reported this.

"Shahed" drones are mining Ukraine — what we know about the new threat

According to the expert, Russian forces drop around eight mines from each drone. The munitions are placed in round containers mounted under the wings.

He also released video footage showing a drop approximately 50 kilometres from the border.

"Flash" warned that with snow now melted, the mines will be clearly visible on the ground. He stressed that approaching them on foot or by vehicle is strictly prohibited.

"As always, I urge you to make sure children are told about this," he stressed.
