Russia is likely to start an offensive in Sumy region — a military analyst

Russia may launch an offensive in Sumy region
The Russians are likely to start a border operation in the Sumy region, but not to advance towards the regional center.
Military analyst Denys Popovych expressed this opinion on the air of the telethon.
"Regarding Sumy. It is likely that a border operation will begin in Sumy region. Not to move towards Sumy. There, near Sumy region, before the start of all the "Kharkiv events", there was even a smaller grouping than in the Kharkiv direction, about 15,000. Not to move towards Sumy, but to create something similar to what they have now created in the north of Kharkiv region," Popovych said.
In his opinion, the aim of these actions will be to divert the reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"We will have to respond in some way. Especially if they follow, God forbid, the same scenario as in Kharkiv region, where they advanced, and we were forced to react, changing the commander of the operational-strategic grouping of troops. Let's hope that all lessons have been learned and this will not happen again", he stated.
