Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha emphasizes that the only way to achieve peace is by demonstrating strength. He shared this in an interview with "Ukrinform".
Sybiha stressed that only through a "path to peace through strength" can the Kremlin be compelled to engage in negotiations.
"There can be no appeasement policies. History has already shown us, especially before World War II, where that leads. Putin understands only strength. The path to peace lies in demonstrating strength. That is why we advocate for the approach of a "path to peace through strength," the minister said.
He outlined several key steps in this approach: inviting Ukraine to join NATO, increasing supplies of modern weaponry, including long-range systems, and developing domestic arms production. Additionally, creating new brigades and reserves to ensure constant combat readiness and supporting drone production programs are critical elements.
"In other words, we have a clear plan with specific components, which, together with our partners, will enable us to make this "path to peace through strength" as effective as possible," Sybiha added.
