President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured that Russia’s terrorist missile strike on the city of Sumy will not go unanswered.

He said this in his traditional evening address on Wednesday, April 16.

According to him, Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex is sufficiently developed for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to retaliate against Russian terrorists who kill civilians.

“We have the means to respond to such strikes, and we won’t let the scum, who kill our people, live in piece on this earth. We have every right to do so. It’s absolutely just to respond to murderers in the way they deserve,” the President stated.

He added that Russia must come to terms with the inevitability of Ukraine’s strength.

“A true, reliable peace can be achieved only when reality forces Russia to accept our capabilities. Our drones, Ukrainian missiles, our artillery, Ukrainian shells, our equipment — everything produced by Ukraine — will protect Ukraine, the lives of our people, and our state,” Zelenskyy promised.

The Ukrainian leader expressed gratitude to more than 300,000 Ukrainians working in Ukraine’s defense enterprises.
