President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced important meetings and negotiations next week.

The President said this in an evening video address to Ukrainians on January 3.

"We are preparing for meetings and negotiations next week to strengthen our air defense. The schedule for this work has already been preliminarily agreed upon," he stated.

Zelenskyy emphasized that just in the first three days of the year, the Russian army had launched over 300 strike drones and approximately 20 missiles, including ballistic ones, against Ukrainian cities and villages.

"A significant portion of them was shot down or neutralized by our forces using electronic warfare systems. However, unfortunately, there were hits, and there are killed and wounded. My condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased," the President said.

In addition, according to the Head of State, Russian guided aerial bombs are used daily.

"This Russian terror, which shows no signs of slowing down, requires both us and all of our partners to maintain active efforts in building our air defense shield and all its systemic components – from Patriots to mobile fire groups. We need to constantly replenish our missile stock for air defense. We must consistently enhance the capabilities of mobile fire groups. I am grateful to all our partners who are assisting," he concluded.
