U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner confirmed their intention to visit Ukraine.
The exact date of their visit remains unconfirmed.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during a briefing in Norway.
According to the president, the visit will take place once the American side finalizes preparations. He noted that the timing depends entirely on the delegation’s readiness.
«They have confirmed they will come. We are expecting them any day they are ready,» Zelenskyy stated.
According to him, the U.S. delegation is currently heavily focused on the Middle East. Despite this, Ukraine continues to strengthen diplomatic channels.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of maintaining an active dialogue with the United States and Europe. He also mentioned the need for trilateral talks involving Russia to address urgent matters.
