President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced upcoming negotiations in London aimed at achieving an unconditional ceasefire in Ukraine.
He made this statement following a conversation with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
“I just spoke with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. It was a good and detailed conversation. As early as Wednesday, our representatives will be working in London. Ukraine, the UK, France, and the United States. We are ready to continue moving forward as constructively as possible to achieve an unconditional ceasefire, followed by ensuring the establishment of a real and lasting peace,” Zelenskyy stated.
The President emphasized that an unconditional ceasefire is the first step toward peace and expressed gratitude to international partners for their support. He also accused Russia of prolonging the war, citing events that occurred during Easter.
Joint work within European security formats was also discussed during the conversation with Keir Starmer.
