Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announces that Kyiv is ready to engage in leader-level talks to address key issues of the war. He called on Moscow to demonstrate the same readiness.

Zelenskyy wrote about this in a post following the meeting with U.S. Special Representative General Keith Kellogg.

«We are ready to talk at the level of leaders. This is the format needed to resolve key issues. Now, the same readiness is needed in Moscow, ” he emphasized.

He thanked the U.S. for its support and highlighted the importance of decisions made at the Washington summit alongside European partners, describing it as a «demonstration of true unity between Europe and America, ” with Ukraine once again acting as a country that unites the world.

Zelenskyy noted that Ukrainian and American teams are actively working on shaping a new security architecture for Ukraine. Key priorities include an agreement on weapons supplies and a separate contract for drones, which could significantly strengthen Ukraine’s arsenals.

He also stressed the need to maintain pressure on Russia through sanctions and tariffs, emphasizing that this remains a critical part of the negotiation agenda.

Separately, Zelenskyy addressed the humanitarian track, particularly the return of all Ukrainian children abducted by Russia. He expressed hope for the continued personal involvement of the U.S. President and First Lady in this process.
