Russia carried out yet another large-scale attack on Ukraine on the eve of the Geneva talks. The Ukrainian President responded emotionally to the strikes and emphasized that the aggressor must be held responsible.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote this.
He said that the enemy had a single goal — to hit Ukraine’s energy system as hard as possible.
«The attack was combined and deliberately planned to damage our energy sector as much as possible, ” the Ukrainian leader said.
He also noted that these are attacks against life itself, and international partners need to respond.
«Russia must answer for its aggression. Our diplomacy will be more effective if it is grounded in justice and strength.
Pressure on Russia comes through sanctions, uninterrupted support for the Ukrainian army, and our air defense system.
«To make peace real and just, measures must be directed at the sole source of this aggression. Moscow continues killings, large-scale attacks, and assaults, ” Zelenskyy concluded.
