Slovak President Peter Pellegrini, Prime Minister Robert Fico, and National Council Speaker Richard Rasi declared unity on key domestic and foreign policy issues, including the withdrawal of military support for Ukraine and the need for the country's sovereign course in the European Union.

This was reported by Aktuality.sk

The President emphasized that Slovakia will not continue to support Ukraine militarily, will not send its military there, and will not participate in the guarantee of a large loan from the European Commission.

All three also said that the European Union remains a living space for Slovakia, and that the country wants to remain a part of it. At the same time, Prime Minister Robert Fico warned that the EU is going through the deepest crisis in its history.

"I would be sorry if in this crisis that exists in the European Union, Slovakia ran around like a wounded deer and could become a victim of significant shifts that could happen in Europe," Fico said.

He also drew attention to the destruction of the world order and problems with compliance with international law, emphasizing that energy security would remain a serious challenge.

Earlier, we wrote that a number of Western media outlets reported that the United States was stopping arms supplies to Ukraine
